He advised the people not to see MLAs as enemies, but to see them as friends. He said that if your father or brother is an MLA at an old age, will you not make arrangements for his retirement? Support from Karnataka ministers

The BJP has strongly opposed the proposal of the Karnataka Assembly Speaker. It criticized it as unnecessary expenditure and an attempt to divert people's attention from key issues. BJP MLC CT Ravi flagged that Karnataka is facing a shortage of funds and is unable to pay dues to government contractors. First pay the debts of the contractors in the state, then get massage chairs for your comfort. He said. Similarly, BJP MLA Bharat Shetty said – We don’t need massage chairs. Use public money for necessary development works. He expressed a clear opinion.
